This policy explains what personal data Nevati Ventures Ltd (“Nevati”, “we”) collects when you use this website, order materials or create an account, why we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

What we collect
- Order details: your name, phone number, optional email and company, the materials and quantities you order, and whether you chose delivery or pickup.
- Delivery details: delivery area, address, landmark, a site contact number and your preferred date.
- Proof of delivery: a photo of the delivered goods or delivery note, the name of the person who received them, and, if the driver chooses to share it, the location where the delivery was made.
- Account details (optional): if you create an account, your sign-in email (or Google account), name, phone, company and saved delivery sites.
- Payment records: whether an order has been paid and the payment reference. We don’t collect or store Mobile Money PINs or card details.
Why we use it
- To prepare, price, deliver and support your orders, and to contact you about them, including by phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To keep business, tax and accounting records as the law requires.
- To prevent fraud and misuse of the website.
We don’t sell your data and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Drivers and transport partners see your first name, phone number, delivery address, landmark, site contact and the items, only for orders they are delivering. They don’t see prices or your email.
- Service providers that run the website for us, mainly Google Firebase (hosting of order data, sign-in and photos). Their servers may be located outside Uganda; we use providers that protect data to recognised standards.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as needed for tax and accounting law. If you delete your account, we delete your profile and saved sites straight away; past orders remain in our business records but are no longer linked to an account.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, object to how we use it, or have it deleted where the law allows. You can delete your account yourself from My account. For anything else, email info@nevativentures.com. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Office in Uganda.
Cookies and storage
We store your cart and recent order code in your browser so the site works between visits. If you sign in, Firebase keeps you signed in. We use Google reCAPTCHA (App Check) to block automated abuse of the order system.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
